Guy Gardner, Hawkman, Wonder Woman, and Probert try to escape from the incoming hordes of Tormocks. They have no other choice than to take the fight directly to the Tormocks. With the unexpected help of Lobo, Guy's crew strike head-on. While the battle continues, Guy flies straight to the Tormocks command center, where he confronts the leader Bronkk and his sister Karine. Suddenly, the rest of the Justice League joins the fight, bringing the Tormocks' World Devourer with them. The living ship swallows Karine through a black hole, leaving Guy to deal with Bronkk. Guy defeats Bronkk, allowing Cardone, his long Vuldarian ancestor, to come forth and finish Bronkk and the Tormock threat with him. Cardone bids farewell to Gardner, claiming justice has been achieved and recognizing him as the last Vuldarian, a warrior without equal.
