The Fury of Firestorm Annual #2 (published by DC Comics in December 1984) is a 48-page illustrated novella that features a thrilling battle against the alien criminal, the Mage. Throughout the fight, Firestorm must also battle overwhelming hallucinations that threaten to consume him.
